This is a mobile repeater set up. Carry it anywhere and deploy it for rapid comms coverage. This can be useful for communicating with family and friends that maybe just out of reach or provide coverage for a whole town if need be. I've personally had this repeater setup reach out as far as 35 miles. Your experiences may differ. Just remember when setting the antenna up. Height is Might!
